How We Started

Together Indy began with a vision to unite the churches of Indianapolis.s, Born out of their own friendship and decades of pastoring churches in the city, Pastors Jeff Krajewski and Clarence Moore saw a need for local pastors and churches to come together around the unity that Christ provides and to collaborate and share our common mission together. This journey has been guided by a commitment to biblical principles and the desire to see our city transformed through acts of justice, mercy, and love.

At Together Indy, our mission is to foster unity and collaboration among pastors and churches in Indianapolis, guided by our core beliefs: being Christ-centered, biblically-rooted, and missionally-minded. Here’s how we put our beliefs into action:

Collaboration and Building

We are dedicated to creating spaces where churches and pastors can come together to discuss issues affecting our communities. By building out our network and identifying pastors and churches that want to be involved, we lay the groundwork for church-led solutions and initiatives to serve Indianapolis effectively. This phase is crucial as we gather and develop our strategies, welcoming pastors and churches from diverse cultural and theological viewpoints.

Community Engagement

We believe in the power of collaboration. By pooling our resources and knowledge, we can make a significant impact on the community. Our goal is to support existing programs or create new initiatives that align with our mission of justice and mercy. Working together is very beneficial and effective, demonstrating the strength and unity of the body of Christ.

Events and Volunteer Opportunities

We organize large meetings for pastors and church leaders to initiate relationships and collaboration. We also create smaller groups to ensure pastors and church leaders can get to know each other and find ways to serve and encourage one another. Individuals can get involved with Together Indy by filling out a contact sheet. We welcome anyone who shares our vision, mission, and values and is eager to contribute to our mission of unity and service in Indianapolis.

The Team

Meet the passionate directional team behind Together Indy, which is committed to unity and driving transformative change in Indianapolis. We come from different backgrounds, cities, and perspectives, yet we are all together to see God’s good work itself out through Indy.

Prayer for Renewal

Gracious and Sovereign God,

We come before You with hearts full of hope and affection for our city. You are the Creator of all things, and we know that Your desire is for redemption and renewal. We lift up our city to You, trusting that Your Spirit can bring life where there is brokenness and unity where there is division.

Lord, we pray for healing in our streets, that wounds of injustice and inequality would be bound up by Your grace. Tear down the walls of mistrust and racism that continue to persist, and replace them with bridges of reconciliation, compassion, and love. May the people of this city walk together, not as strangers, but as brothers and sisters, bound by a common humanity and the image of Christ in every face.

We ask for Your peace to reign in every neighborhood—where violence has been the language, let peace be the answer. Where there is poverty, may Your provision abound. Where there is despair, may hope rise like the dawn.

Empower Your church to be a light in the darkness, a beacon of Your justice and mercy. Stir in us a spirit of generosity and humility, that we may serve as Your hands and feet, working for the flourishing of every person in this city. Help us to love without fear, to give without measure, and to speak truth with grace. May we be known as people who seek the welfare of our city, embodying Your kingdom values in every sphere.

Lord, we dream of a day when Indianapolis will reflect Your heart—a place where all races, cultures, and communities can come together in mutual respect and love. A city where the rich and poor are neighbors, the vulnerable are cared for, and every person is valued as Your beloved child.

Father, redeem our city. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like a mighty stream. Transform Indianapolis into a city that glorifies Your name, where Your love is evident in every corner, and where Your kingdom comes, here on earth as it is in heaven.

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is our hope and our salvation.

Amen.
